Pass by this place on the way to the park and had to try. They have outdoor and indoor seating and order at the counter service. The cashier was friendly and tacos were pretty good. Also, Dogs allowed on the patio! Here's what I had. Grilled Shrimp taco- packed with shrimp and packed with flavor. Full or onions and cilantro, just the way I like it! Carne guisada- good flavor meat, wasn't a fan of the flour tortilla. Overall I'd come back and try more of the menu!
This was such a cute restaurant. Visiting Houston and was craving Mexican food. This was the closest to my hotel, which makes it that much more convenient. I ordered the homemade chips with queso, a quesadilla that was half beef and half chicken (win!) and a picadillo taco (because I was hungry). I also got the habanero sauce for my quesadilla. I loved the quesadilla since I could have half and half. I was thinking it'd be half chicken and half beef, and it looked like it was just all mixed for the most part - it made for great leftovers. I was really looking forward to the taco and that was actually not my favorite. It was pretty bland in my opinion. I put the queso and the habanero sauce for more flavor. The service was on point. We ordered when we walked in and the food was brought out to us within minutes. Love. Glad I was able to try out this place.
During the midst of the rain ... and of course after work. I took the initiative to stop and get food before heading home. Upon arrival there was open parking. Now the parking lot is small so I was glad to get front door parking. When walking in I was greeted by the sweetest waitress. She took my order , made me a margarita and ensured my food would be out soon... and that's exactly what happened. Before I got good and comfortable my nachos were served with the Diablo salsa in the side. I immediately went in on everything. From the fresh cheese to the meat selections, everything was perfect. My watermelon margarita was sooooo smooth I wanted to chug it but I dared not due to a brain freeze. The whole experience is definitely 10/10.
The food is worth the crap parking and eating in the car love me some tacos a gogo!! But yes more parking please
Fast service. Great play area in the back for the kids the play. Excellent parking on a Sunday morning.
